Communication in Action
Building confident communication
Communication in Action is a practical program designed to help students speak clearly, confidently, and effectively in academic and real world situations.
Many students lack confidence in expressing their ideas in discussions, presentations, and group work. This program develops the communication skills needed for active participation in academic and real-world settings.
Through guided activities and structured discussions, students practice expressing ideas, explaining their reasoning and responding thoughtfully to diverse perspectives.
Through structured guidance and active participation, students learn to:
Express opinions clearly and respectfully
Explain their thinking in a structured way
Respond thoughtfully to questions and alternative viewpoints
Build confidence speaking in front of others
Participate actively in group discussions
Grounded in research-backed communication frameworks and aligned with Australian education values, this program focuses on using English effectively, not memorising language rules, helping students participate confidently in discussion based learning.
